Kutob at Bulong

Kutob at Bulong is a multiplayer social deduction card game that brings Filipino folklore to life. Set in the mysterious fictional place called Sitio Kubli, players take on secret roles as Taumbayan (villagers), special characters like Mangangaso (hunter), Babaylan (healer), Manghuhula (fortune teller), or one of three types of Aswang (mythical Filipino monsters).

We want to explore the concept of social deduction and the genre of card games. As we explored it, we conducted some research and developed an approach that combines classic game mechanics with modern technology. The innovation lies not in replacing traditional social deduction games, but in creating a new synthesis that enhances the core experience through technology, while maintaining the essential human element of social deduction.
